WX Scholarship: Scholarship Programs

The WX Scholarship Program's goal is to encourage and support bright and talented young women in their pursuit of careers in real estate and real estate related professions. In keeping with our mission, WX awards scholarships on an annual basis to promising students studying real estate at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The criteria we use in awarding scholarships are as follows in order of importance i) academic merit and demonstrated interest in real estate, through courses, clubs, internships, job experience, etc.; ii)financial need and iii)likelihood of working in the New York metropolitan area. Scholarships can range from $2,000 to $10,000 for tuition expenses and certain candidates have the ability to reapply for subsequent years. We tailor the program and application process to suit the needs of our participating schools, their calendars, curricula, etc. In addition to the financial benefit the scholarships provide, WX scholarship recipients also benefit from mentoring opportunities with WX members where we can assist recipients with career guidance. WX also hosts networking events described below that cater to young professionals.
