Conversations and Perspectives Planning Committee

The Conversations and Perspectives Planning Committee develops programs geared to young women interested in the real estate profession and career advancement for junior women in the profession.
 
Dinner Committee

The dinner committee plans the annual Woman of the Year dinner, including the annual Dinner Journal. The annual dinner is WX’s principal fundraising event.
Membership Committee

The membership committee identifies potential new members and processes applications for membership, including scheduling interviews etc. The membership committee is also responsible for integrating the new members into the organization, and hosting breakfasts or other intimate gatherings in order for the members to get to know one another.
Mentoring Committee

The goal of the WX mentoring program is to promote the advancement of women in the real estate professions, by introducing mentees to career opportunities and female leaders in various real estate fields, through formal programs and formal and informal mentoring, and by using the knowledge and experience of the WX members to assist mentees as they begin their real estate careers.

The program committee organizes WX’s monthly breakfasts featuring prominent industry leaders and the Annual Meeting of the WX members.
Scholarship Committee

The scholarship committee establishes scholarship criteria, identifies scholarship recipients and mentors young women entering the real estate profession. The co-chairs welcome the help of veteran and brand-new members especially with respect to mentoring young women and monitoring scholarship awards at the high school, college and graduate school levels.
Special Programs Committee

The Special Programs Committee is responsible for maintaining the brand of WX by continuing to communicate its mission, functions and accomplishments within the real estate and business community. The committee is also responsible for "Behind the Scenes", a small format gathering with topical guests. In addition, this committee oversees the website continually improving upon the relevance and timeliness of content; and surveys members to increase member satisfaction and participation.
