Purchased in the early 2000’s and part of the larger Greenpoint-Williamsburg rezoning, the site is being master-developed by Park Tower Group and involves joint-venture development partnerships with Brookfield Properties, Rockefeller Group and L&M Development Partners. To date, 3,000 residential units have been built, including 1,400 affordable units. When complete, Greenpoint Landing will include an estimated 5,500 residential units, a public elementary school, four acres of open space including a waterfront esplanade, dog run and public pier.
